The Republican Senate Primary runoff to replace the spot held by Lindsey Graham on the ballot for Nov. 3 will be held on Tuesday, August 25, from 7am to 7pm. Early voting will take place from Wednesday, August 19 to Friday, August 21, from 8:30am to 5pm. Check scvotes.org for early voting locations and for August 25 election day locations. Voters must bring a photo ID in order to vote. Due to the compressed time period, absentee ballot requests expired on Friday, August 15.Who is eligible to vote in this primary?Voters who participated in the June 2026 Republican Primary or did not vote in either party's June 2026 primary are eligible to vote in the August 25 Special Republican Primary Runoff, while voters who participated in the June Democratic Primary are not eligible to vote.
