The #1 priority for the town of Evansville, as it is for any municipality, is for the safety and well-being of its residents. To do this we need to provide a healthy infrastructure, which means we need to maintain and improve our existing water, sewer, streets, and the fire and police departments. The challenge is to accomplish this and still have a balanced budget.
If re-elected, I will work with our very professional and excellent staff to accomplish these goals. I will also seek and pursue any and all additional sources of funding available that are beyond our established revenue sources such as taxes and direct distribution.
I am a 30-year resident of Evansville and have 8 years’ experience on town council prior to becoming mayor of Evansville on November 10, 2025. I am a previous small business owner and have held numerous management positions in my past business life. I served 6 years in the US Navy and presently serve as vice president of the Natrona County United Veterans Council.
One of Evansville’s biggest challenges is balancing our limited revenue with the growing needs of our community. We must plan responsibly for replacing aging equipment, maintaining essential infrastructure, and addressing street repairs before small problems become much more expensive.
Just as important, our town has experienced some difficult and divisive times in recent years. We need to restore trust, strengthen communication, and bring back the sense of community that has always made Evansville a great place to live. By working together, we can make thoughtful decisions that protect taxpayers while investing in our town’s future.
If elected, I will work with the Town Council, our employees, and the citizens of Evansville to develop written annual, five-year, ten-year, and twenty-year plans that establish clear priorities and provide a road-map for our community’s future. Planning ahead allows us to make sound financial decisions, prepare for major equipment and infrastructure needs, and avoid unnecessary surprises.
I believe communication and transparency are essential. Before making significant longterm commitments, the public deserves to understand the costs, benefits, and alternatives. Rather than relying on general explanations like “inflation,” I believe decisions should be supported by clear facts, actual costs, and responsible financial analysis.
I also believe in finding solutions, not excuses. I don’t accept “it can’t be done” or “that’s the way we’ve always done it” as reasons to avoid improvement. Evansville can respect its traditions while embracing new ideas that make our town stronger, more efficient, and better prepared for the future.
My background has prepared me to approach the challenges facing Evansville with practical experience, fiscal responsibility, and a focus on results. As a business owner and manager for many years, I have learned the importance of budgeting, long-term planning, accountability, and making difficult decisions while living within available resources.
I also served on the Evansville Town Council from 2023 to 2024, where I gained firsthand knowledge of the Town’s operations, finances, and the issues that matter most to our residents.
Earlier in my career, I served as Sports Coordinator for the City of Casper, working closely with the City Manager and City Council. During that time, I founded the Casper Recreational Leagues Association and helped transform the department from a cost center into a revenue-generating operation while reducing costs for participants. That experience taught me how to improve services, manage public resources responsibly, and build partnerships that benefit the community.
I am not a career politician. I am a practical, independent thinker who believes in listening, asking questions, making decisions based on facts, and always putting the best interests of Evansville’s citizens first.
