I have been canvassing for Democratic candidates and Democratic issue campaigns for almost a decade. Most recently, I joined efforts advocating for data center regulations through canvassing and direct citizen outreach.
I am passionate about bringing fresh ideas and proactivity to our government. I will fight for:
Making Life Affordable for Everyone: Prices are going up faster than our paychecks. We need innovation in our government to build a strong local economy, and to push for more energy generation in our state.
Clean Air & Water as a Right: In Delaware, we consistently rank terribly for both air and drinking water quality. I am a fierce advocate for our environment because our lives depend on us doing better.
Vibrant Streets and Stable Housing: Investments in accessible streets that are safer for all people, no matter their transit choice, generate economic, health, and environmental benefits making our community a more desirable place to live.

*Increase climate & disaster resiliency of housing, with a specific focus on the displacement effects of flooding we face as a coastal state.

*Support "pattern book" housing plans to streamline the approval process & construction of affordable homes.
*Create a progressive property tax policy to protect homeowners from drastic increases.
*Ensure seniors can age in place & lower-income families can stay in their homes through repair programs.

Health care is a human right, and all Delawareans deserve to live a healthy life. Health care costs are rising, and tens of thousands of Delawareans are set to lose access to Medicaid as a consequence of the most recent federal budget. The loss of federal funds means some providers are shutting their doors. I will:
*Support Delaware’s first medical school.
*Advocate for financial support for assisted living facilities & in-home nurse aids.
*Fund community medical clinics to incentivize preventative care, lessening the burden on our ERs & hospital systems.
*Safeguard access to vaccines, ensuring that anyone who wants a vaccine can get one.
*Invest in care-workers, from those assisting adults with autism to those caring for people in hospice.

I have a long history of serving my community through volunteer leadership and civic involvement. I currently serve as President of the Lindamere Civic Association, where I work with neighbors to strengthen our community and advocate for local priorities. I am also a head coach with Brandywine Little League, helping mentor young athletes and promote teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship. In addition, I have been actively involved with numerous local nonprofit organizations, supporting initiatives that improve the quality of life for Delaware families. These experiences have reinforced my commitment to public service and my belief that strong communities are built through collaboration, volunteerism, and local leadership.
Delaware families are struggling with rising costs, stagnant wages, and a shortage of affordable childcare and housing. We must make our state more affordable by increasing access to childcare, increasing housing opportunities, supporting policies that grow wages, and addressing rising electricity costs through a balanced, reliable energy strategy. We also need to strengthen public education by supporting teachers, fully funding Delaware's student-centered education funding formula, and expanding career and workforce pathways. By focusing on affordability, education, and economic opportunity, we can build a stronger Delaware where working families have the opportunity to succeed.
Homelessness is a complex challenge that requires both immediate support and long-term solutions. We must increase the supply of affordable housing by streamlining development and expanding public-private partnerships. At the same time, we should strengthen eviction prevention, expand access to mental health and substance use treatment, and improve job training and workforce development so individuals can achieve long-term stability. We also need better coordination among state agencies, nonprofits, and local governments to ensure resources are used effectively. Addressing homelessness requires compassionate, practical policies that help people regain stability while strengthening our communities.
In recent years Delaware has enacted laws requiring the safe storage of firearms and banning the sale of assault-style weapons. My focus is on ensuring these laws are implemented effectively. We should also strengthen efforts to keep firearms out of the hands of violent criminals by improving enforcement of existing laws, increasing resources for mental health and violence prevention programs, and cracking down on illegal gun trafficking and straw purchases. I believe we can improve public safety through responsible enforcement, prevention, and community partnerships. As a Gun Sense Candidate, I am commited to common sense gun regulaton that keeps our community safe.
Over the long term, Delaware must focus on lowering costs while improving access and quality. That means strengthening primary and preventive care, expanding mental health and addiction services, supporting community health centers, and addressing shortages of doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. We should also reduce prescription drug costs, increase transparency in hospital and insurance pricing, and hold insurers and healthcare systems accountable for excessive increases. No Delawarean should have to choose between paying a medical bill and covering rent, food, or utilities. Quality, affordable healthcare should be accessible to every family, regardless of income or ZIP code.
