Please describe your priorities for your term in office and your specific qualifications to effectively address those issues.
What do you see as the most pressing housing-related issue in Wisconsin, and what policies, if any, would you support to address the issue?
What redistricting process, if any, do you believe the legislature should put in place before the next national census to ensure fair representation for voters?
What, if anything, will you do to ensure our schools have the resources to improve outcomes for its students, including those with disabilities?
What guardrails, if any, would you support to protect our environment, health, property values, and household budgets from large projects such as hyperscale data centers and Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (CAFOs)?
As a returning representative in the Assembly, I will continue to support and protect public education, environment, affordable housing, and healthcare access along with local government for Wisconsinites.
The housing supply and affordable access to shelter continues to be a pressing issue for all regions of the state. I will support removing barriers and common sense housing policies that make having a roof over your head a priority.
A redistricting process that has public engagement and allows for fair maps.
Having been guardian for children with special health needs personally, this is one of the most difficult areas to address. There is no magic answer. Simply put, we must fund and make a priority for tackling the public school funding issue, including addressing transportation.
Guardrails include requiring companies that benefit to pay their fair share and are regulated to prevent further harm to our natural resources, and do not shift cost burden to rate payers. While there is a demand for data, we have to consider how to manage the footprint of said developments in a life cycle analysis method.
