My professional experience spans business, higher education, nonprofit leadership, and entrepreneurship. I hold a B.A. from Lawrence University and an MBA from Northeastern University. Over the course of my career, I have worked in finance, recruitment, nonprofit management, higher education, and as the owner of a small business. These experiences have given me a firsthand understanding of the challenges facing Wisconsin families, workers, and employers.

Affordable and accessible healthcare, childcare, education, and housing, and fair wages that keep pace with the cost of living, are my legislative priorities. I joined my colleagues in introducing or supporting bills to help working families with these and other issues in the last session.
The most pressing housing challenge facing Wisconsin is the shortage of affordable housing. Our state is tens of thousands of units short of what is needed to meet demand, driving up costs and making it harder for young people, working families, and seniors to find stable housing.

While some bipartisan progress was made this session through housing grants and targeted regulatory reforms, more comprehensive solutions are still needed. I support policies that increase housing supply, encourage workforce and starter-home development, and help local communities address their unique housing needs. Affordable housing is also critical to economic growth and workforce development.
I commend Governor Evers for advancing fair maps that give voters the ability to determine who represents them in the Legislature. Going forward, I support a transparent and nonpartisan redistricting process. Models such as Iowa's independent approach provide a strong example of how districts can be drawn fairly.
As a recently retired educator and the proud parent of two graduates of the School District of Janesville, I strongly support public education from early childhood through higher education. Strong schools are essential to preparing the next generation, supporting local economies, and creating communities where families and businesses want to invest.

I believe public education dollars should be invested in our public schools. In the Assembly, I have co-sponsored more than a dozen bills to increase school funding, support educators, and fulfill the state's commitment to special education reimbursement in the 2025–27 state budget.
Economic development and environmental protection must go hand in hand. This session, I co-authored Assembly Bill 722 to establish safeguards for ratepayers, create responsible standards for data center development, and protect Wisconsin's natural resources. As major data center proposals are considered in Rock County and across the state, it is critical that developers are held accountable to local communities and environmental standards.

I also support policies that protect family farms, preserve water quality, and address the impacts of large-scale agricultural operations.
