County Attorney
The Teton County Attorney is elected to handle both criminal and civil law. The office prosecutes misdemeanors and felonies in Circuit and District courts, manages juvenile and mental health cases, and serves as legal counsel for the county’s elected officials, departments, and appointed boards. The office regularly coordinates with federal agencies, given our proximity to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. The County Attorney is paid a salary of $145,000 per year, increasing to $153,700 in January 2027. Benefits for full-time Teton County employees include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, life insurance, and retirement through the Wyoming Retirement System.

It has been an honor to serve in this position for the past two years. I love this community and want to do my part to help make it the best it can be.
Though imperfect, I strongly believe that our criminal justice system is the best in the world. I support opportunities for rehabilitation that address substance abuse and mental health. Ensuring due process is one of my core values. It is a right that belongs to everyone, regardless of race, gender, nationality or sexual orientation.
I am dedicated to maintaining communication and collaboration. True leadership means working together for the benefit of the community.
I evaluate a case on its merits and whether the facts fit the elements of a crime.
I have served on the Teton County Court Supervised Treatment Team for nearly twenty years. This program helps individuals with substance abuse and mental health issues avoid incarceration. I also strongly support our juvenile diversion program that allows our youth to avoid criminal convictions.
