CD7 Jobs and economic development
ISeek position on House Ag committee; Will create a movement across rural MN a Rural Restoration reversing population loss, for this engine drives American liberty, the promise immigrants came to CD7 for
CD7 Health Care
Health care should be pro-life. Some trying to make MiN abortion capital of the nation. Terrible idea corrupts our health care. Must train medical professionals to heal and restore life, not take lives. Focus on Minnesota. Strengthen health leadership through schools businesses agencies
MN Govt integrity
MN government engages in fraud, conducts unfair corrupt elections. One party, Walz-Klobuchar DFL left the rails. Now engages round the clock promoting new weak America that harms liberty
President Trump is taking the right actions to restore right trade relationships internationally and incentivize business and industrial development. It’s incumbent on the CD7 rep to understand this and pragmatically work across the aisle to accelerate that and train our young people to form stable families and educate their children to participate in a positive future. Stable growth will control inflation. Rural Restoration Hubs will create great food supply to lower prices

Focusing on CD7 itself t is hard to reach polling places. I think Trump’s EO is the best overall solution. As the DFL candidate for Secy of State in 2022 I know fraud occurred and CD7’s votes are being canceled by cheating in the Blue cities. CD7 needs mail voting but it needs to be cleaned up. I have proposed a digital voter ID card that empowers you, has your address and races loaded on it, polling place. Machines must register voter in correct district Vote Carlson Aug 11 Primary
Show up with public policy decisions benefitting CD7 not a political party. And lead active staff who inform ourselves of the needs of the district working skillfully to best meet these through the US and the state. Leading Rural Restoration is critical. We must house, educate and serve workforce in each regional center and town. Education is truly important. Many questions are being addressed now, not necessarily right. Cultural pluralism, not racial division.

Our top priority will be defending the Constitution; too many of our rights are being threatened in real time. We are running to restore the system of checks and balances and three equal branches of government.
Second, we will fight to get corporate money out of politics and overturn Citizens United. Money in politics continues to be a barrier to progress in far too many areas. Our elections shouldn’t be auctions and elected officials should be beholden to the people, not corporate donors.
Third, we will stand up for our rural economies. That includes expanding healthcare access and affordability, especially in rural communities, fighting for family farms, and protecting and expanding funding for public education.
Healthcare, education and agriculture make up a large part of our economies here in CD7 and are critical to the economic health of our district. We need to invest in local projects in these areas because public investment leads to public good.
We need to stop corporate monopolies that reduce competition and drive up costs.
Congress is supposed to control the purse, not the executive branch. Reckless tariffs don't work and have led to much of the inflation we’re currently experiencing.
We need to put the planet over profits. In CD7, farmers feel climate impacts: changing weather, soil health, and access to clean water. Good stewardship is survival and we owe it to future generations to take a multi-generational approach to protecting our environment.
We'll incentivize climate-smart agriculture and rural renewable energy. Protect pristine places like the BWCA from corporate exploitation.
Congress must act with urgency. We can both grow our economy and protect our environment.
A society is judged on how it treats the elderly, children, the sick, and people with disabilities. We're failing.
Healthcare is a human right and we have a responsibility to make it accessible and affordable for all. Education is the great equalizer. Food and housing are foundations.
In CD-7, Social Security, Medicaid, and veterans benefits are essential. We need to expand them, not gut them.
Public investment in education, healthcare, housing, and child care builds opportunity.
We need to get corporate money out of politics. Citizens United is corrupting our government. We need a constitutional amendment.
Voting access matters. Rural voters face barriers, distance, and limited polling places. We need to expand early voting, mail-in options and same-day registration.
Election security and voter access aren't enemies. We can secure elections while making voting easier. Accessibility & responsiveness create accountability. That's how we restore trust in self-government.
I’m running for Congress to defend the constitution, restore checks balances, and represent those I seek to serve.
My responsibility is to be beholden to the people, not corporate donors looking to buy influence. I'm not a career politician. I'm a working-class problem solver who listens to neighbors. I’ve traveled over 36,000 miles across our 38 counties on this campaign.
I'll be intentional about how I communicate and work to bring back decency and empathy back to our political discourse.
Our courts should be accessible to all people, not just the wealthy. Corporate interests shouldn't dominate the judicial system. Our Supreme Court Justices should not be able to receive gifts & full disclosure should be required. Our Department of Justice should also serve the people and not the executive branch.
Judges should interpret the Constitution faithfully and defend self-government and protect rights for all.
We need due process, accountability & equal justice. That's how we do better.
