My top three priorities will be lowering costs for working families, protecting American democracy, and restoring accountability in Washington.
First, I'll work to lower the costs of health care, housing, child care, and prescription drugs because too many families in the Sixth District are working harder than ever and still falling behind.
Second, I'll defend our democratic institutions and voting rights. As someone who has spent my career studying and improving elections, I believe every eligible voter should be able to cast a ballot securely and have confidence that their vote will count.
Third, I'll fight for investments in infrastructure, education, and workforce development that strengthen our communities and create good-paying job
A strong economy is built from the middle out, not the top down. I support investments in infrastructure, workforce training, research, and small businesses that create good-paying jobs and strengthen American competitiveness. To address inflation, we must increase housing supply, strengthen supply chains, lower health care costs, and promote fair competition. Families deserve an economy where hard work leads to economic security.
Climate change is already affecting Minnesota through extreme weather, flooding, agricultural disruption, and infrastructure challenges. I support investments in clean energy, conservation, modernized infrastructure, and energy efficiency that reduce emissions while creating jobs. We should support farmers, encourage innovation, and strengthen community resilience so future generations inherit a healthier environment and a stronger economy.
A strong safety net creates opportunity and economic stability. We should protect and strengthen programs that help families access health care, food assistance, quality education, and affordable housing while ensuring they are efficient and effective. I support investments that reduce barriers to opportunity, expand housing availability, and protect seniors, veterans, people with disabilities, and working families who rely on these programs.
Election security and voter access go hand in hand. As an election administration expert, I know that the strongest election systems are both secure and accessible. I support protecting election workers, maintaining accurate voter registration systems, strengthening cybersecurity, and ensuring local election officials have the resources they need. I also support early voting, absentee voting, and voter education so every eligible voter can participate confidently in our democracy.
A member of Congress has three fundamental responsibilities: represent constituents, provide effective oversight of government, and legislate in the public interest. I will be accessible, hold regular town halls, listen to people across the political spectrum, and communicate honestly about my decisions. My job is to solve problems, not score political points, and to ensure the people of the Sixth District always have a voice in Washington.
Public confidence in the judiciary depends on fairness, transparency, and accountability. I support stronger ethics rules, clearer financial disclosure requirements, and consistent standards that apply across the federal judiciary. At the same time, reforms must preserve judicial independence and the separation of powers. Americans should be confident that court decisions are based on the law and the Constitution, not political pressure or special interests.

My top priorities are affordability, political reform, and restoring a healthier civic culture. Families in MN 06 are being squeezed by rising costs, unpredictable healthcare bills, and economic instability driven by global conflict and policy uncertainty. Congress must focus on real world affordability, not political theater. I’m also pushing for major reforms like term limits, banning stock trading by members of Congress, and shutting down the revolving door that fuels corruption. Finally, we must restore respectful dialogue in our politics and work productively together. Division has become a strategy, and it’s tearing communities apart. I’ll focus on honest debate, accountability, and service over self-interest.
I’ll focus on affordability by restoring fiscal discipline, cutting waste, and bringing stability back to markets. Families are being squeezed by taxes, healthcare costs, and price spikes driven by global conflict and uncertainty. Congress isn’t doing its job because career politicians won’t negotiate. We must get real about the budget, increase healthcare price transparency, and stop policies that fuel volatility. A strong economy needs accountability and predictable rules.
I support practical steps that protect communities and keep energy affordable. That starts by making it easier for homeowners to choose solutions that work for them. A diverse energy portfolio gives us stability and keeps America an industry leader. We should strengthen infrastructure, improve efficiency, and support innovation in clean energy technologies like nuclear power. To address climate risks, Congress needs less political theater and more long‑term planning.
I grew up with divorced parents and relied on a subsidized lunch program, so I’ve seen how a safety net helps low‑income families become the next generation of the American dream. A strong safety net requires stability, accountability, and safeguards against fraud. We need a Social Security system strengthened by eliminating the income cap, and Congress must ensure funds go where they’re needed, not to pork projects. We also need real budget reform so support reaches the families who rely on it.
Confidence in our elections has been shaken, in part due to rhetoric from political leaders. The right to vote is the cornerstone of our democracy, which I swore an oath to defend. To ensure election integrity, I support voter ID proposals that include a real implementation plan and support for updating registrations and obtaining IDs. I would work with colleagues to update the Voting Rights Act to ensure every valid ballot is counted transparently so the will of the people is respected.
I believe my responsibility is to serve with integrity, show up, and listen. I’ve been an unheard constituent, and I won’t let others feel ignored. I support term limits so representatives focus on service, not reelection. I’ll hold regular town halls, keep open office hours, and make sure my staff listens to constituents, not lobbyists. Congress must do its job, read the bills, and pass a real budget. My goal is simple: be present, be accountable, and ensure every voice is heard.
I believe we need a federal court system the public can trust. Congress should require the Supreme Court to publish and follow a clear, enforceable ethics code. I support the proposal for term limits on Supreme Court justices. We also need stronger transparency, timely financial disclosures, and steps to reduce case backlogs. No branch should be above basic accountability, and the courts must earn the public’s confidence through integrity and openness.
