The lack of real representation in Congress. I’m running to be a true representative to the people of Eastern Oklahoma. I believe that it should be the people’s voice that decides the way our representatives should be voting.
The rising costs of everything causing great struggles for the working class. I will fight to provide a living wage and to lower the cost of fuel by working to utilize the oil we have here in the US to produce our own fuel and lower the cost of it. Work to provide affordable healthcare for all. I will also fight to bring back the jobs we lost over seas making us less dependent on other Countries.
I believe the federal government has large roles to play in energy, the environment, education, housing, and healthcare. I believe we need to restore the Department of Education. We need to ensure that we set up national standards to ensure all students will be taught a national standard. This will make that no child is left behind and every child has a chance to reach higher education levels if they want. Healthcare is an area that the federal government must invest in and finally provide healthcare for all US citizens. Housing should be addressed on the federal level to help provide a stable foundation for citizens to get back on their feet and return to stability.
I will fight to do away with national right to work laws. I will also fight to provide a living wage as the federal minimum wage.
