Public education, special education, supporting people with disabilities and revitalizing rural Missouri. As a father of two children on the spectrum and someone who is pursuing a degree in special education, I understand how important strong schools, community services and local opportunities are in helping families build fulfilling lives in rural communities.
I would say funding and investing in our public schools. Every child deserves a quality education regardless of where they live, their family's income or their circumstances. I would support increased investments in public schools, educator pay, and efforts to address staffing shortages and other needs.
