1) I'm passionate about ensuring honest government oversight and absolute financial integrity. Why-It's lacking. 2) I'm passionate about education- an Educator at heart- Teacher- Principal- Superintendent. Why- Our kids and schools are at risk. 3) I'm passionate about D6 loss of GDP and low weekly per capita income vs. the rest of the state. Why- We've been left behind.
Education. I will forcefully advocate to fully fund the education foundation formula, protect higher education funding and expand, diversify and innovate vocational education opportunities. I plan to serve on the Education committee and attend other hearings to be the strongest advocate possible.

I have two areas. First, veterans - their rights, benefits and health care. There is no reason a veteran should be homeless or hungry. I am a veteran and I understand what they have faced. Second is quality of education. Personally, I would like to see parents that want to home school their children take a qualifying test beforehand.
I would introduce legislation to require home school instructors to pass a 9th grade proficiency test. Second, I would seek funding for homeless or warming shelters in smaller towns and cities.
