The Corporation Commissioners will often have to review disputes and cases investigating claims, and render decisions based on policy and law. My previous experience as an adjudicator with the State of Oklahoma, I would review cases, investigate claims, and render decisions based on policy and law.
With the rise of Data Centers, their consumption of energy and water resources, the infrastructure needs as well as the cost associated and who is paying for these costs.
With careful review of the cause for the increase in cost. If costs are due to higher energy costs to produce energy due to events outside of our control or infrastructure updates that are being shared to all customers. Additionally, It is my belief that with the rise of high consumption industries, we will have to have the ability to produce more energy, or the costs will go up. I am very interested in developing research at OU for geothermal that would be tied to the grid. We will need to produce more energy. There have been problems with some of our existing green energy, but newer technology has made vast improvements, and I am very interested in seeing if these improvements will be able to address a lot of the problems we have had with wind and solar.
