I am running for mayor to bring steady, practical, and transparent leadership to Shoshoni. I have lived here since 1981, taught Industrial Education at Shoshoni Schools, served on the Town Council, and spent 30 years as a volunteer firefighter, including chief officer roles. Those experiences taught me planning, budgeting, communication, accountability, and how to work with people in difficult situations. I believe the mayor’s job is to bring people together, focus on priorities, and treat residents fairly.
Shoshoni’s economic future starts with doing the basics well: reliable water, sewer, streets, public safety, and responsive town services. I would support local businesses, encourage new investment, pursue grants and partnerships, and work with Fremont County where our interests overlap. Shoshoni’s location gives us opportunities tied to transportation, tourism, energy, agriculture, and small business. Prosperity requires sound infrastructure, responsible budgeting, fair treatment, and clear communication.
My top three priorities would be infrastructure, public trust, and economic stability. First, we must continue addressing aging water, sewer, street, and wastewater needs. Second, we need open meetings, accurate records, respectful communication, and fair decision-making. Third, we need responsible budgeting, support for local businesses, and a practical plan for Shoshoni’s future.
A vibrant and livable town is safe, clean, affordable, neighborly, and well-run. For Shoshoni, that means reliable services, safe neighborhoods, maintained streets, responsible public safety, and a town government that listens. It also means addressing neglected and unsafe properties, supporting community pride, and making sure residents feel heard, respected, and included in the future of the town.

I am running to continue to move the town forward. I spent 4 1/2 yeas a town councilman and I am in my 8th year as Shoshoni's Mayor. We have been moving forward under my leadership and the team that I have surrounded around myself. We still have a lot to do. Water infrastructure needs to be completed, Sewer infrastructure (including the Dosing system), Promotion of the Town of Shoshoni (The Crossroads of Wyoming), The town of Shoshoni needs to continue with what has been started. I am the only one running for Mayor that has proven leadership and proven results.
I will use my knowledge and skills to work toward economic development for The town of Shoshoni and Fremont county. I would like to highlight Curry Rail Services (CRS) and Wyoming Cardiopulmonary Services (WCs) as an examples. I courted CRS, even when the local Chamber of Commerce refused to. I did research CRS and I recognized their potential. They can provide services for approximately 15% of the states population and over 27% of the states land mass. Over 20 years using the BRC Loan grant program it would put near $2 Million into Shoshoni's budget for infrastucture.
1). Developed and sell town owned land.
We need to have more businesses and citizens in Shoshoni. That
that will lower the cost per capita on our citizens. Bring
businesses to town like a Cafe.
2). Improve our infrastructure
3). Continue with improving our image. We are the Cross Roads of
Wyoming
Community buy in on making the town better. You need to provide the essentials services for people to live in town. Medical services and ambulance services are important to have. You need Attainable housing cost also. Whether it is rentals or to purchase. People must be able to afford to live here. Good Law enforcement to protect the citizens.

I am running for Mayor because I care deeply about Shoshoni and want to help guide our community forward with strong, practical leadership. As a current Town Council member, I understand how local government works. Professionally, I lead one of the largest LPG companies in the intermountain west, where I focus on problem-solving, accountability, and leadership. I bring real-world experience, work ethic, local commitment, and a desire to serve our community well. My family has deep roots here, and I have a genuine desire to serve the people of Shoshoni with integrity!
I will work to strengthen relationships with local businesses, support entrepreneurship, and actively pursue ways to improve Shoshoni that benefit our citizens. Shoshoni sits at a crossroads that sees thousands of travelers each year. We should be looking for ways to encourage visitors to stop, shop, dine, and explore our community. I also believe we must continue working with county, state, and regional partners to identify opportunities that benefit Shoshoni & Fremont County. Best way is improve infrastructure and community amenities without placing burdens on taxpayers!
My top three priorities are: improving communication between town government and residents, strengthening infrastructure planning for long-term needs, and supporting growth through local businesses support and community development. I believe in transparent leadership, responsible planning, and creating opportunities that help Shoshoni grow while maintaining its small-town identity.

For me, it means Shoshoni being a place where families stay, businesses invest, and residents feel their voices matter. It also means having leadership that is accessible, decisions made with transparency, and a shared commitment to improving quality of life without losing our identity.
