I am a lifelong resident of Riverton & Fremont County. I have raised my family and operated my family business which employs 160 people in Wyoming. This is my home and I want to make it the best place possible for all of us to live, work and play.
My 50 plus years running a business and 24 years of public service make me uniquely qualifies to lead Riverton into the future.
We need to make Riverton a great place to do business. This will encourage business' to thrive, hire people, expand and be quality member of our community.
As the City, We need to be able to provide the vital services that people need to live, work & play. This will take all of us contributing to make Riverton the best place to Live.
Improve public safety/reduce crime.
Create an environment for growth, encourage controlled development, bring employment opportunities for our residents.
Create a responsible long term Capital Plan, Actively pursue grant opportunities to Update and improve our Water, sewer and sanitation infrastructure.
A place where people feel safe to raise their families, have economic opportunities and the basic services that they need.
We need to have a growing economy to provide the environment for us to attract people and business to Riverton.

I am running for Mayor of Riverton because I believe the current leadership is not addressing key community issues such as public safety, tourism, and economic growth. My courses of study in college are business, accounting, Elementary Education, and Phycology. I've have owned two startup businesses in Virginia. A mayor's job is about listening to people, making decisions, building teams, solving problems, and being accountable to the community.
Nobody starts with experience as a mayor. "It's time for a change".
I have many goals for Riverton. We need a Juvenile Detention Facility to help with the crime in the city. Our police officers need to be paid a more competitive wage. Tourism can help fund these programs along with state and federal grants. By encouraging more family friendly businesses to come to the city and more fundraisers on the weekends during the summer we can help make Riverton a destination stop on their way to Yellowstone or one of our other great cities or towns.
Lowering the crime in the city, economic growth, and improving the quality of life for the citizens of Riverton.
Riverton is listed as the worst place in Wyoming to live. The crime in the city is the biggest reason. When I moved here over 16 years ago the city was much different. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. We as a community have lost the prosperity we once had do to the oil fields closing down and the Covid virus. I know that by working together we can make Riverton bigger and better.
