I believe that I am uniquely qualified because I have worked within the County Clerk's office for the past 24 years. I spent 11 years in Auto Titles before transferring to the Real Estate/Marriages office, where I have served as manager for the past 9 years. I have also helped with every election since 2002. Through this work, I developed a strong understanding of the County Clerk's department and the importance of providing efficient, reliable service to the public.
I will refine the Auto Titles system to reduce processing delays and help reduce the current backlog.
I will ensure voter confidence through transparent, secure, and accountable elections.
I will continue to adhere to the recording statutes and maintain public access to property records.
Auto Titles backlog. I would revamp the Titles office to allow the department to expand and reduce the processing time for vehicle documents.
Voter confidence. I will continue to make sure that the elections are transparent and secure.
I would not continue ballot drop boxes. I don't believe that we have had an issue in Laramie County with securing the ballot boxes but not using them would reduce the chances that the boxes could tampered with and the ballots removed or destroyed.
