Why not? I ran for Governor in 2022, and it was a great experience. I am a legacy to my family, especially to the females. My motto is “Be brave enough to try something new.” Another motto is “There is always a better way.”
I try to get people to think about what is going on. One of my goals is to get people to get involved and to vote.
Compared to many other places I have lived, property taxes are very low here in Wyoming. If we want good services, excellent schools, and great towns, we need to be willing to pay taxes for the good of all of us. There are good programs for those who can’t afford their taxes. Yes, the state should backfill the losses. Reducing taxes will kill small towns' ability to have police, fire departments, and excellent schools.
No selling of public lands. I worked for the BLM for 15 years. We need public lands to hike, camp, fish, hunt, and for grazing animals. The government can't make more land.
No! It really hurts small towns. I feel that the more money we spend on education, the better off all of us. We need well-educated people to stay here and make Wyoming an even better place. The people in school now will be our caretakers later on. I want them to be well prepared to take care of us.
Yes, we need to fund social services. If we take better care of our people, they will be able to contribute more to our state. Healthy people will mean more workers for our state. Well-fed people will offer more to the state. Well-fed children will do much better in school. Isn't it our job to take care of each other?
