Dedicated to the Constitution, I am fair, practical and follow the law. I adhere to strong moral and ethical standards. I am level-headed, measured, patient, experienced and hardworking. As a St. Charles County judge, I handle hundreds of cases of a wide variety on a weekly basis. I practiced law for over a decade with cases in 44 Missouri counties and the appeals court.

I am dedicated to independence, integrity and impartiality, the cornerstones of the judiciary. I act with judicial restraint, serving as a necessary check and balance in government. I continue practicing judicial courage in the face of unpopular cases to make the right decision under the facts and law. I engage in civic education and promote my courtroom as open to all.

My 31 years of courtroom experience have given me a deep understanding of the law and courtroom procedures. Managing over 600 cases at once requires organization and efficiency. Working with victims and witnesses from diverse backgrounds has honed my ability to listen and communicate clearly. My prosecutorial decisions are measured, practical and grounded in common sense.

I would maintain an open, respectful and accessible courtroom, listen carefully to all parties and clearly explain the legal basis for my decisions. Public trust is strengthened when judges apply the law as written, which would be my approach. I would continue my community events and outreach to help educate St. Charles County residents about the judicial system.
