My top priorities as the next director of elections: 1) Return to hand-counted paper ballots to increase transparency and trust, as well as keeping taxpayer money right here in St. Charles County. 2) Improve responsiveness to the public. 3) Increase transparency in all aspects of the election process, including allowing challengers and watchers during early voting.
My qualifications include a high level of attention to detail and my experience in accounting, legal research, data management, compliance, election law, and election data research and analysis. I also have a proven record of streamlining processes to increase productivity and accuracy. I believe our elections belong to the people, just as our founders intended.
