My top priorities are accuracy, security and integrity. I will continue to hold public hand-count audits after every election, test certified paper ballot scanners before every election, keep voter rolls clean, accurate and up to date, and enforce photo ID requirements. I will continue to improve office operations and provide clear voter information and education.
I am a U.S. Air Force veteran and former small business owner and state representative. I hold a master’s in public policy, earned the Certified Elections Registration Administrator certification and am vice president of the state Association of County Clerks and Election Authorities. I led St. Charles County elections for eight years with accuracy, security and integrity.

My top priorities as the next director of elections: 1) Return to hand-counted paper ballots to increase transparency and trust, as well as keeping taxpayer money right here in St. Charles County. 2) Improve responsiveness to the public. 3) Increase transparency in all aspects of the election process, including allowing challengers and watchers during early voting.
My qualifications include a high level of attention to detail and my experience in accounting, legal research, data management, compliance, election law, and election data research and analysis. I also have a proven record of streamlining processes to increase productivity and accuracy. I believe our elections belong to the people, just as our founders intended.
