With a career and background in computing, data centers, construction, operations, management, committee meetings and working with communities on various projects, I feel I have a unique business perspective to bring to this district.
No, WY property taxes in the past have been lower than many other states in the nation. Property taxes are a well establish practice to fund public education, fire, police and other public services in the community. If a reduction is passed, other funding sources need to be established to back fill the loss. Taking away funds to services without a plan to support them is an irresponsible act.
No, I do not support the sale or exchange of public lands. WY has been gifted with many natural wonders and these lands need to remain accessible to the public. This also means adequate funding to support these lands effectively needs to budgeted.
No. To retain and attract people to the state, we need to fully support the public education system and infrastructure. As identified in the state's constitution we need to fund education to the levels we have promised the people.
The responsibility of the government is to support it's citizens. Social services is a portion of that responsibility. A health community helps everyone who lives there. Businesses benefit with better quality staff, the people benefit from the services and community benefits with reduced social issues.
