1) Public safety. 2) Lower/cut taxes. 3) Lower restrictions for builders.
I am a former police officer and have always had a calling for public service. I was on the planning and zoning board for Festus, and know what it takes for our district to prosper but not feel like we lose that rural hometown feel. I would like to see more family-oriented development in our district.

Be a constant reminder to fellow elected officials that as a public servant, we have a commitment to serve our entire community and transparency shouldn't just be a buzzword for a platform. Public transportation options need to be expanded. AI restrictions on surveillance pricing by retailers.
I enjoy research and am naturally inquisitive. I won't be making decisions based on the word of the benefactor of a project. I will get answers to all the hard questions. However, presented with new and factual information, I am capable of changing my mind.
Age 55
Public elected offices held Grandview School Board; Board of Aldermen, Hillsboro
Highest post-secondary educ B.S., Washington University, economics
Occupation Shelter Insurance agent, small business owner
My number one goal is to bring people together. United, all sides can respectfully work together for the greater good. My second objective is capital improvements for county buildings. The court's building is 150 years old, obsolete and difficult to navigate. The county jail is also obsolete and is a proven liability. I am a huge proponent of parks and law enforcement.
I am a Christian conservative. I am the sole candidate qualified educationally with a degree in economics. Professionally, I have worked in District 5 for close to three decades and have proven electability. I'm pro-life, pro-Second Amendment, pro-law enforcement and pro-union.

1) Transparent, accountable government that listens to the people. 2) Responsible growth with infrastructure planned before development. 3) Supporting public safety, local business and protecting the quality of life that makes Jefferson County a great place.
I am not a career politician. I am a lifelong Jefferson County resident who has built businesses, created jobs and worked hard to serve my community. I believe government should listen to its citizens, spend tax dollars responsibly and make decisions with honesty and transparency.
