Highest post-secondary educ B.A., University of Missouri-Columbia, international relations
Occupation Operations manager
My priorities are fairness, transparency and accountability. With experience in the Missouri House of Representatives and as an operations manager, I will bring watchdog oversight to the assessor’s office by ensuring assessments are clear and understandable, the office is responsive and accessible, and taxpayers receive strong customer service and respect.
I bring 26 years of operations management, including writing multimillion-dollar budgets and managing nearly 300 people. As a state representative, I have served on customer protection-focused committees like Financial Institutions and Pensions. A third-generation union member and lifelong county resident, I understand taxes and the need for fairness and accountability.
Age 40
Highest post-secondary educ MBA, Washington University; M.A., Southern Methodist University, dispute resolution and conflict management
Occupation Real estate
1) Ensure accurate and transparent assessments in the 2027 cycle. 2) Clear and settle the backlog of appeals and litigation that are not precedent-setting or represent drastically divergent valuations. 3) Conduct a top-down review of processes, policy, practices, software and other factors that are driving up assessments across the county.
The role of assessor is an executive, expertise and experience-driven role that has an impact on all residents of St. Louis County. I have spent the last decade in real estate and economic development. I have bought, sold and redeveloped residential and commercial property which has provided an awareness of the complexities in our county and taxing districts.

1) Ensure fair, accurate and equitable property assessments through consistent, data-driven practices. 2) Increase transparency and customer service by making assessments easier to understand. 3) Build public trust through accountability, community engagement and open communication.
Your next assessor needs more than credentials; he needs head, heart and hands. I bring the analytical depth of a Washington University math degree and an UMSL MBA, a heart for the people and families who are behind every valuation, and the hands of a seasoned former Missouri state representative who knows how to turn commitment into real results for real people.
