I am passionate about education and workforce development. I believe the greatest challenge is rebuilding a better education system. Our schools should focus on basic skills: reading, writing, math, science, social studies, etc. Our students must be prepared for the future, especially if the global climate is to rebuild our manufacturing base.
With over 40 years' experience, I would work hard with federal and state entities to rebuild Missouri as a manufacturing base. Automotive, aviation, manufacturing and fabrication all provide higher-paying jobs that our community needs. Rebuilding this sector with new and existing businesses will be the future of St. Louis and Missouri.

I’m passionate about cutting senior citizen property taxes, giving relief to working class families, strengthening our small businesses, fully funding our public education system, protecting our air, water, soil and wildlife from deregulation, protecting our children at summer camps, reducing crime, supporting union jobs and making Missouri a better place for everyone.
My main legislative priority is to get a summer camp safety bill signed into law. Currently, Missouri has zero laws for summer camps. I would like to see background checks for all camp counselors, CPR and AED training, and an emergency action plan if a child is severely injured or if there’s a severe weather or active shooter event.
