I am a retired educator and lifelong advocate for strong public schools and thriving communities. Over a career spanning nearly three decades—as a classroom teacher, instructional leader, and district administrator—I worked directly with students, families and educators to ensure every child had access to opportunity. I am running for office to bring that same practical, people-first approach to Missouri. Rooted in service and guided by experience, I am committed to listening to community members and fighting for policies that strengthen schools, support working families, protect personal freedoms, safeguard worker's rights, and build a stronger future for Missouri.
Public schools are the heart of a healthy community--they educate the workforce, feed hungry kids, anchor local economies, and teach the next generation how to be engaged citizens. When schools thrive, communities thrive. My priorities include: 1) fully funding the Foundation Formula (Missouri has chronically underfunded its own school funding formula), 2) addressing the educator shortage and retention by raising salaries and supporting working conditions, and 3) reverse/oppose voucher expansion so that public tax dollars are not used for private school vouchers.

As State Representative, I will push to fully fund the Foundation Formula by advocating for it in the budget process and building bipartisan coalitions in Jefferson City. I will champion legislation raising the minimum educator salary and improving step-pay schedules to keep quality teachers in Missouri and I will vote against any expansion of voucher programs because public dollars belong in public schools.
