Congress is broken. We need Term Limits and a Balanced Budget Amendment to fix our problems. We also need to standardize elections across the country. Every party should have a Primary for every office - no Nonpartisan Elections and no Jungle Primaries.
I would help draft legislation for the items above and if Congress was unwilling to move forward on these issues then I would help the states in their push for a Convention of the States (under article 5 of the constitution) which already has 20 states requesting the convention - that includes Missouri and Kansas. 6 other states are half way through the process leaving only 7 more states needed to force a Convention of the States.

The public policies I am most passionate about are public education, accessible healthcare, and protecting reproductive freedom. As a former full-time special education teacher, I witnessed firsthand how easily students with disabilities can be overlooked. That is why I am committed to fully funding our public education system. Public education is the foundation of our nation, and every child—regardless of income, background, or ability—deserves access to a quality education. I also believe that every American deserves access to affordable healthcare. Families should never have to choose between paying their bills and receiving medical care. We should be strengthening our healthcare system and supporting hospitals, especially in rural communities, not cutting resources that families depend on. Finally, I support a woman's right to make her own healthcare decisions. These deeply personal choices should be made between individuals and their healthcare providers, not politicians.
My top legislative priority in 2027 will be protecting the fundamental rights and freedoms of every Missourian and every American. Our democracy is strongest when every citizen feels heard, respected, and empowered to participate in it. Too many people today feel that their voices have been ignored or their rights threatened.

I will work to protect the freedoms guaranteed by our Constitution, defend the right of citizens to peacefully express themselves, and ensure that government remains accountable to the people it serves. Leadership should unite people, not divide them through fear or intimidation.

I will support legislation that protects civil liberties, strengthens voting rights, promotes government transparency, and ensures equal treatment under the law. My goal is to restore trust in our democratic institutions and make sure every Missourian knows their voice and their vote matters and that their government works for them.

Public policy begins and ends by listening to the voters. When I talk to voters across northern Missouri, they tell me what’s top of mind for them: lowering the cost of living. Prices for groceries, gas, and healthcare continue to climb higher and higher because of bad policies, and our current representative ignores our pleas for action so he can stay on Trump’s good side. The people of northern Missouri deserve to be represented by someone who puts their concerns first. I love my community; I’m passionate about what they’re passionate about, because more than anything I want to see my community thrive. Together, we will use that passion to bring down costs for working families in our cities, in our rural communities, and everywhere in between.
Above all else, we need to lower the cost of living for families and farmers in Missouri, so they can live the comfortable life they’ve worked so hard for. When elected, I will introduce legislation that brings down prices, including ending the tariffs placing an undue economic burden on our families and farmers. I will also restore funding to public services like Medicaid and Medicare, so that our seniors don’t have to cut their pills in half to pay for tax cuts for billionaires. Finally, I will expand services like Medicaid and Medicare and streamline the enrollment and renewal processes, so Missouri families can more easily access the services they need, and have one less thing on their plate.

I am passionate about people having access to healthcare, policies that empower working people not billionaires, and defending our constitutional rights. I have been traveling thousands of miles and speaking with people all across north Missouri, and these are the topics that are top of mind for many Missourians. Hospitals are closing, senior homes are under severe strain, and even access to a preventative care doctor is an hour drive or more for many people. I spoke with a mother who had to drive 1.5 hours each way for her prenatal appointments all the way up to birth. I want to focus on working class needs such as affordable housing, maintenance for schools and public facilities, and local infrastructure investment. Our small rural communities are struggling, and I see many of the solutions for our problems in the built environment due to my experience as an architect. Even constitutional rights can be defended better if we had enough immigration courts to process cases.

My top focus would be focusing on healthcare access. For many people in rural Missouri, it takes an hour or more to drive to a hospital for emergency care. We have barriers to information sharing such as proprietary medical databases that prevent healthcare providers from communicating and causing inefficiencies for people who need care. I want to explore new means of ensuring people can access care, such as standalone emergency rooms, expanded tele-health capabilities, and mobile platforms to bring care into communities. Many of our small towns have abandoned buildings and blight, and I would like to work to put Federal infrastructure dollars and investment into our small towns to help build out local spaces within our communities to help our towns regain some strength. We need mental and physical health clinics within easy access of all who need it. If we want to help our rural areas grow, I believe people's lives would be the most improved if they had healthcare access.
