Education. Education is the foundation that enables all Americans the opportunity for a successful life. Starting and home and extending globally.
Economics. The monopolization that is controlling our food, housing and fuel access is unprecedented. I will seek to enforce our anti trust laws to make our necessities financially obtainable.
Citizens United. This is a top priority, the vote of the people is sacred and should be protected.

My commitment to justice and liberation was shaped by a generation of Black excellence, especially my great-grandmother, Mama Cilla. A sharecropper who overcame countless barriers, she moved her family into a home in Kansas City whose deed explicitly stated that "No Colored People Allowed."
Despite that exclusion, she transformed that house into a home and a gathering space rooted in love, resilience, and solidarity for generations to come.
Inspired by that love and those values, I am running for Congress to fight for a just economy, affordable housing, universal healthcare, an end to U.S. involvement in foreign wars, the removal of outside lobbying influence from our policy decisions, and a future where working people come first. I believe that meaningful change is not shaped by politicians or oligarchs—it is built by people coming together to create it
My top priorities in Congress will be lowering costs for working families, working towards a single payer, universal healthcare system, and restoring trust in government.
I will fight for affordable housing by supporting federal investments in housing construction, stronger tenant protections, and programs that help working families achieve affordable housing because housing is a human right,
I will support legislation that expands access to universal healthcare and lowers prescription drug costs. No family should ever face bankruptcy because they got sick, and healthcare should be treated as a human right rather than a privilege.
I will champion government accountability by supporting legislation to ban congressional stock trading, reduce the influence of corporate money in politics, strengthen ethics laws, and increase transparency throughout our government. The American people deserve a government that works for them and not corporations, donors and special interests.

I have not previously held elected office. However, I served in numerous leadership roles throughout my military and legal career, including President of the Noncommissioned Officers Council, Vice President of the Senior Noncommissioned Officers Council, and President of both the Armed Forces Law Society and Intellectual Property Law Society in law school. I also served as an Assistant Attorney General, a public service role focused on representing the people of Missouri.

My primary public policy interest is strengthening economic security by fixing the systems Americans rely on. I believe housing, healthcare, education, and food security are not isolated issues they are interconnected systems that determine whether families can build stable, successful lives. Too many of these systems are failing working people due to rising costs, consolidation, and a lack of long-term planning.
My focus is on reforms that lower costs, expand opportunity, and strengthen communities. I also believe innovation must be balanced with responsibility. As technologies such as artificial intelligence and large-scale data centers continue to expand, we must ensure they are developed in partnership with local communities, with environmental protections, transparency, and accountability. Economic growth should benefit the people in our communities, not come at their expense.
At its core, my policy work is about fixing broken systems so every American has an opportunity.
My top priority in 2027 is addressing the housing crisis. I support declaring a national housing emergency and pursuing policies that lower construction costs, expand housing supply, and increase pathways to homeownership. We should be investing in housing much like previous generations invested in the American Dream through programs inspired by the post-World War II G.I. Bill.
Too many young people feel locked out of homeownership, and their concerns are justified. Rising costs, limited supply, and large-scale corporate and private equity purchases have distorted the market and made housing less attainable for working families. At the same time, housing costs remain one of the leading drivers of homelessness across the country.
We must confront this challenge directly by building more housing, supporting first-time homebuyers, and ensuring every American has access to safe, stable, and affordable housing.

I am big on defending civil liberties, including freedom of speech. We should not be so afraid of retaliation that we choose not to speak our minds. That means I am opposed to any and all restrictions on social media websites and apps as that is the responsibility of the household's adults, not the government to oversee. Every attempt to "protect the children" comes at the cost of loss of privacy for everyone else. I am opposed to being tracked everywhere we go and would support initiatives to bring back privacy to every individual in this country.
The gerrymandering is also getting ridiculous and needs to stop. Weaponizing the election maps to favor one party or the next is abhorrently wrong and the idea should be abandoned altogether. No one is entitled to seats in Congress. That is to be earned through winning elections legitimately.
The so called "TikTok ban" should never have been passed in the first place as that will have consequences regarding freedom of speech. I would also seek to restrict the FCC's ability to restrict broadcasting of any content and have them focus solely on frequencies not causing undue interference. Regulation of content should be enforced by adults in the household, not by the government. I would also push for legislation that would ban gerrymandering in all future elections by requiring every state to have a non-partisan committee draw the election maps based on the 10 year census.

Healthcare, housing, and helping to boost the economy. We need universal healthcare, affordable housing, and we need to raise the minimum wage to cover the cost of living.
I would immediately support universal healthcare. I would institute the Keep The Pay Act, which guarantees no tax payment for couples filing jointly until they earn $75,000. I would support an immediate national moratorium on data centers and enact legislation so that disabled veterans would be excluded from property taxes, no matter what their disability rating is.

No single policy succeeds in isolation, which is why federal investment should be designed to work across these systems together rather than in silos. We must address the rising housing & childcare costs, access to healthcare, food insecurity, agricultural market instability, reinvestment in infrastructure and education, among other priorities. I will collaborate with anyone providing practical, solution-focused ideas that advance our communities.
I am rooted in the urban core of Kansas City and I was raised in the rural area of SW Missouri. Despite different settings and perspectives, urban and rural Missourians share the same core goals: opportunity, stability, and a better future for their families. I have family and friends across both communities and I’ve seen how deeply we rely on one another. Our challenges don’t come with one-size-fits-all solutions, but they do require equal respect, shared responsibility, and cooperation to solve together.
Economic Growth: Missouri biotech manufacturing triangle anchored in District 4 & expand across the state’s remaining congressional districts. This strengthens regional economies by partnering with Missouri universities & trade schools to build a skilled workforce pipeline. Through employer-sponsored training programs, workers can be prepared for high-paying biotech manufacturing jobs within 18–24 months, ensuring Missouri leads in innovation, job creation, & long-term economic growth.
Infrastructure Investment: Access to quality childcare, healthcare, public education, food security, transportation, & housing should not depend on zip code. We must align funding streams, expand flexible rural and urban grants, & incentivize public-private partnerships that combine housing with essential services.
Social Security long-term solvency: Lift the $184,500 wage cap & reduce the payroll tax rate from 12.4% to 11.6% to protect or slightly increase take-home pay for most workers.

Healthcare, education, veterans' issues, homelessness, campaign finance reform. As a career professional nurse, teacher, and veteran, I understand what parents, nurses, teachers, and veterans need and have the expertise and experience to enact solutions. *Ultimately, Universal health care will ensure that all people and communities especially rural Missouri receive quality health services when and where they need them without suffering financial hardship. It will cost less than our current health care system.
*Future Ready education prepares all students for college and/or a profession. Every child should go to college or begin an occupation or vocation. Public education and teachers deserve a raise. About 71% of public and private school teachers work a second job.
*Every veteran and unhoused individual should have a home and healthcare. There are many examples and models like Eden Villages, Tiny Home Villages, restored hotels, and other resources. I helped develop such a program.
The top priority for 2027 is to impeach and/or prosecute Trump and any other participant in violation of the Constitution and rules of democracy. They stole our country and it must be returned. Funding from Trump's BBB must be restored or reappropriated. Funds from Trump's wasteful and vain projects like the White House, Iran War, reflection pool, etc. and so forth must be restored or reappropriated. Funding must be returned to rural healthcare, farmers, public education, and homeless initiatives. Voting integrity and cooperative foreign policy must be returned. Relationships with allies must be mended and the tariff game halted.
