Tony graduated from the University of Missouri and the University of Missouri School of Law. Following law school, he clerked for a judge on the Missouri Supreme Court, gaining a deeper knowledge of Missouri’s legal system and the rule of law.

Since his election to the Missouri Senate, Tony has become one of the state’s leading advocates for public safety. As Chairman of the Missouri Senate Judiciary Committee, Tony led efforts to strengthen Missouri’s criminal laws and provide prosecutors and law enforcement officers with the tools needed to combat violent crime. He authored landmark legislation to end the catch-and-release of dangerous offenders, increase penalties for violent criminals, and strengthen protections for victims and witnesses.

His leadership on public safety has earned widespread recognition from prosecutors and law enforcement organizations across Missouri. Tony was named Legislator of the Year by the Missouri Association of Prosecuting Attorneys.

A s Platte County Prosecuting Attorney, Tony will bring the same proven commitment to public safety he showed in the Senate, working to aggressively prosecute violent criminals, support law enforcement, stand up for victims, and ensure Platte County remains one of the safest places in Missouri to live, work, and raise a family.
