Upper Deerfield Township Committee

Upper Deerfield Township is governed under the Township form of New Jersey municipal government. The governing body is comprised of the five-member Township Committee, whose members are elected at-large directly by the voters in partisan elections to serve three-year terms of office on a staggered basis, with either one or seats coming up for election each year as part of the November general election.At an annual reorganization meeting, the Township Committee selects one of its members to serve as Mayor and another as Deputy Mayor.Upper Deerfield’s Township Committee and other local municipal government departments are committed to providing its residents, businesses and all who seek information and services from the Township with outstanding customer service.
