I have a commitment to the people of our township to show up and do my best. The rules outlined for all Michigan townships are quite lengthy and specific. I have a desire to learn from the materials provided, and from the other trustees, so that I can make the best decisions for our township. I am willing to work together with our board and with the community to make informed decisions. I am an everyday citizen that puts people first.
I think building an awareness of how township operations work. The township offices are open to the public to educate and be transparent about all processes. Monthly township meetings are also open to the public and are the greatest avenue to understanding your township operations. I try to be very transparent and encourage township citizens to join the meetings to see what is going on in our township.
Making the township the best that it can be. We are actively working to keep the township operating to its highest ability while also staying in budget. As our community grows and services are needed, our current board is committed to working together to achieve this. We are working hard at bringing everything up to a better standard. Parks & cemeteries are being beautified, buildings are being fixed, the website is getting an update, and we have the best roads in the county! We have a great group of people running our township office and a very dedicated board of trustees who work diligently at building a great township.
