I do not support unchecked data center expansion in Maryland. While data centers may bring some economic benefit, they can also strain the power grid, water supply, farmland, roads, and local quality of life. Any proposal must be reviewed carefully, transparently, and with real community input. Maryland should not provide subsidies or special treatment for projects that burden local families, farmers, and infrastructure.
Rising utility costs are driven by higher energy demand, transmission costs, grid reliability needs, state mandates, and added fees passed onto ratepayers. The 2024 EmPOWER bill showed how even well-intended energy programs can raise monthly bills through surcharges. I support more transparency, stronger oversight of rate increases, and reviewing mandates or fees that make life harder for working families.
Yes. Maryland should improve public transportation where it makes practical sense, especially for workers, seniors, students, and residents who rely on it to get to jobs, medical appointments, and school. However, transportation funding must be responsible and balanced. Rural and suburban communities also need road improvements, safer intersections, and better infrastructure, not one-size-fits-all policies from Annapolis.
My top three budget priorities are lowering costs for families, improving public safety, and protecting core services like education, transportation, and infrastructure. I will fight for funding that directly benefits working families, seniors, first-time homebuyers, and local communities. Maryland must also review wasteful spending, avoid unnecessary tax hikes, and make sure taxpayer dollars are spent on programs that show real results.
Immigrants are an important part of Maryland’s communities and economy. I support making sure legal immigrants and their families have access to opportunity, education, public safety, and fair treatment under the law. We should help people who are working, raising families, and contributing to our communities, while also maintaining clear and consistent immigration laws. Maryland should be welcoming, fair, and focused on public safety.

Not until they bring their own power source, and prove they have a system in place that can purify the water they use.
shutting down power plants and transmitting power into the state. Some other issues that we have addressed is paying executives outrageous salaries, while putting those costs on the rate payers. I will continue to look for ways to lower costs for rate payers.
Yes. If we want to continue to attract industry and grow our economy, we need to have the ability to get workers to employers. It will also reduce cars on our roads, thus reducing emissions in our state
Our number one priority has to be growing our economy. Our second priority must be oversite and accountability, making sure the money we spend is going toward intended purpose and is having results. Number three is taking a look at the Blueprint, to see if we need to faze in certain elements as we can afford them.
everything possible. they are a crucial part of our workforce
