Every public school district is governed by a local school board, elected by members of their school district. Every year elections are held to fill school board positions for individuals who have completed their 3-yr term of service. There will be a budget hearing on Tuesday, May 12th, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. in the Homer Training & Education Center. The Budget and School Board Election Vote will take place on Tuesday, May 19th, 2026, 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. at the Homer Training & Education Center.
