Every public school district is governed by a local school board, elected by members of their school district. Every year elections are held to fill school board positions for individuals who have completed their 3-yr term of service. The annual public budget hearing to review the 2026-2027 school budget will be held in the Middle School/High School Auditorium at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. There will be a "Meet the Candidates Night" hosted by the Greene Parent Teacher Organization on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the High School Library.
