1. Strengthen Public Education
Ensure every child has access to a high-quality public education by investing in teachers, improving classroom resources, and supporting safe learning environments. Strong schools strengthen families, communities, and South Carolina’s future workforce.
2. Increase Access to Affordable Healthcare
Expand access to primary and preventive care, especially in rural and underserved areas. Promote solutions that lower healthcare costs, improve health outcomes, and reduce unnecessary emergency room visits.
3. Expand Housing and Economic Opportunity
Remove barriers to affordable housing, support workforce development, and encourage responsible economic growth so working families, teachers, healthcare workers.
I support parental involvement and educational options, but I oppose policies that undermine public schools by diverting significant public funding away from them. South Carolina should strengthen public education while ensuring accountability for any school choice programs that receive taxpayer support.
Data centers must not be allowed in environmentally sensitivity areas like the Ace Basin. We must require all data centers to be transparent about their water and energy use, use reclaimed water, protect local water supplies during droughts, and increase the use of renewable energy. South Carolina can support economic growth while safeguarding the natural resources future generations depend on.
My first responsibility is to the people of District 124. Political parties play an important role in our democracy. I will be elected to represent my constituents. The district was once represented by Robert Smalls, who demonstrated the courage to stand by his principles even when it was difficult. I will strive to honor that legacy by exercising independent judgment, listening to the people I serve, and doing what is right for the district. When party leadership and the needs of Beaufort, Port Royal, and Lady’s Island align, I will work with them. When they conflict, I will put the people of District 124 first. My votes will be guided by facts, transparency, and accountability to the citizens.
