VOTE411 Voter Guide

Nevada State Assembly District 41

The Nevada State Assembly is the lower chamber of the state Legislature and works alongside the Senate to draft, debate, and enact state laws. All 42 Assembly seats are up for election in 2026, and the Assembly plays a central role in shaping policy on schools, healthcare, housing, jobs, public safety, and state budgeting. Because Assembly members represent local districts and serve two-year terms, these races allow voters to hold lawmakers closely accountable and ensure that policy priorities reflect the needs and values of their communities. These elections matter for democratic representation and for how the state resolves the biggest challenges facing Nevadans.

As the daughter of immigrant parents, I believe immigration should be handled with both law and compassion. We must respect legal immigration, secure our borders, and protect the integrity of the system while treating people with dignity.

At the state level, I support stronger coordination with federal immigration enforcement on public safety issues, especially involving violent crime. I also support workforce training, English language access, and job opportunities that help legal residents and new Americans succeed.

Nevada thrives because of hardworking families from every background. We need policies that uphold the rule of law, protect our communities, and create real opportunity for those who follow the legal process.
Redistricting should be fair, transparent, and focused on people, not politics. District boundaries should reflect real communities, neighborhoods, schools, and shared economic interests—not be drawn to protect politicians.

Voters should choose their representatives, not the other way around. I support strong public input, accountability, and preserving communities of interest so families have true representation.

In diverse districts like AD41, every voice matters. Fair district lines help ensure working families, seniors, small businesses, and multicultural communities are properly represented.
One policy I would improve is housing affordability and access to homeownership. Too many Nevada families work hard but still feel priced out by rising housing costs, high interest rates, and limited supply.

As a realtor and a mother of six, I see this every day. I would support policies that expand attainable housing, reduce unnecessary regulations, support responsible development, and strengthen first-time homebuyer opportunities.

Strong homes create safe communities and opportunity for all. A Nevada we can afford starts with making homeownership possible again for working families.

As the grandson of Mexican immigrants and a union worker, I know how essential immigrant communities are to Nevada. I support policies that protect immigrant workers from exploitation, expand access to healthcare and education, and ensure families feel safe engaging with their communities. That includes limiting local law enforcement’s role in federal immigration enforcement. While federal reform is needed, Nevada can lead by protecting workers, supporting families, and recognizing the contributions immigrants make to our economy every day.
Redistricting should be fair and transparent. The voters should choose their representatives, not the other way around. I support a process that prioritizes keeping communities of interest together, especially working class neighborhoods and communities of color. I am open to reforms that increase independence and strengthen public input to prevent partisan gerrymandering. District lines should always reflect real communities.
I would focus on strengthening Nevada’s economy by creating good paying jobs and diversifying beyond gaming. We need to attract new industries like clean energy, advanced manufacturing, and tech while supporting small businesses and protecting union jobs. I would also work to maximize tourism revenue by investing in infrastructure, events, and workforce development to keep Las Vegas competitive globally. By growing our economy responsibly, we can generate more state revenue to fund education, healthcare, and housing while ensuring working families benefit from that growth.

I support restarting the Office for New Americans, and holding the companies that contract with ICE legally accountable for violating the constitution.
I feel that communities deserve to be represented, so I believe in common interest seats drawn in the process, but instead the districts seem to be drawn to protect certain majorities and certain seats.
We need to reform our elections. I am not taking corporate donations, and I do not believe that corporations should be able to donate directly to candidates. I would start by eliminating the donation window between Election Day and the start of the Legislative Session.
