Yes. While we have made significant progress, there are key opportunities to continue improving the operation of the Juvenile Court Clerk’s Office.
First, I will continue modernizing our systems and processes, ensuring our transition to the statewide case management system fully delivers on efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility for both staff and the public.
Second, I want to further enhance customer service and communication, including clearer guidance for families navigating the court system, expanded language access, and more user-friendly digital resources.
Third, I will strengthen our focus on data and performance, using real-time information to identify bottlenecks, improve turnaround times, and ensure accountability.
Finally, I will continue investing in our staff—through training, support, and professional development—because a well-equipped team is essential to delivering the high-quality service our community deserves.
A fair and independent judiciary means that every person is treated equally under the law, without bias, favoritism, or outside influence. It requires that decisions are based on facts, evidence, and the rule of law—not politics, public pressure, or personal relationships.
Independence also means that the court system operates with integrity and transparency, so the public can trust that outcomes are just and consistent. In the Juvenile Court context, this is especially important, as decisions impact the lives and futures of young people and families.
As Clerk, my role is to support that independence by ensuring accurate records, fair processes, and equal access to the court for all.
