1) Academic recovery, college, workforce, and military readiness. 2) Student mental health and school safety. 3) Parent involvement, transparency and fiscal accountability.
God, Country, Family are my guiding principles. These principles are the basis of my decision to run for the County Board of Education. Principles to be instilled, not forsaken. I'm not a politician; I'm a veteran, parent and proven leader.

- As a navy veteran with 20 years of military experience, I firmly believe in leadership grounded in integrity and service. I'm committed to supporting, honoring and retaining exceptional teachers who make a profound impact in our classrooms.

- As a parent, I understand the significance of trusting the individuals responsible for our children’s education, safety and welfare. Parents deserve to be heard and respected, expect transparency and open honest communication. I stand firmly with parents and will strive to bring accountability and openness to the Board.

- As a proven leader, my primary focus is to listen, ensure student's meet their full potential by providing a safe learning environment, a strong academic foundation, and a confident readiness for college, trade schools, career or military service.

This campaign is about prioritizing students and families over politics. Together, we can better define the roll of education for our student's future success.
I would educate myself on what strategies are already in place for emergency response such as an existing task force to handle immediate crises like school safety incidents or public health issues, while becoming familiar with any existing strategic plan and whether the community and parents had any input.
I am pleased to have received The San Diego Republican Party's endorsement along with the following: Reform California, East County Tea Party, Andrew Hayes, Lakeside School Board, Anthony Carnevale, Cajon Valley School Board, Mark Robak, Otay Water Board and community leaders, Frank Hilliker, Susan Roberts-Egley, and Priscilla Schreiber
