My top priorities are improving infrastructure, strengthening public education, and promoting responsible economic growth. District 35 is growing quickly, and our roads and transportation systems must keep pace. I would support practical, fiscally responsible investments in road improvements and traffic relief. I also believe every child deserves a strong education and pathways to success, whether through college, technical training, or workforce development. Finally, I will support policies that encourage local business growth, protect taxpayers, and make Tennessee a place where families and employers can thrive.
I believe people deserve to know how and why decisions are made. If elected, I will communicate regularly through town halls, community meetings, social media, email updates, and an accessible website. I will explain my positions clearly, share information about legislation and votes, and make myself available to hear concerns and answer questions. I also believe transparency means listening. I want constituents to feel they can contact me directly and know their voices are being heard, not only during election season but also throughout my term.
I believe effective leadership begins with listening. I will represent all constituents of District 35, not just those who agree with me. I know people have different experiences, beliefs, and priorities, and I believe those voices deserve respect. I will meet with community members from across the district, listen carefully, and make decisions based on facts, compassion, and the needs of those affected. Complex issues rarely have one-size-fits-all solutions, and my goal is to work across differences to find practical solutions that strengthen our entire community.
I support strengthening public education by giving teachers the resources and support they need, improving classroom safety, and expanding opportunities for students. We should invest in career and technical education, workforce training, and partnerships with local businesses so students are prepared for life after graduation. I also believe we need to address overcrowding and growth in our schools, especially in rapidly growing communities like ours. Education should prepare every student for success while respecting parents and supporting local schools.
