It would be the honor of my life to serve as your Alameda County Superior Court Judge. As a judge, I am committed to being fair, impartial, and compassionate—treating every person who comes before the court with the dignity and respect they deserve. Above all, I will uphold an unwavering commitment to equal justice for all. My legal career began more than 20 years ago in civil litigation, where I have practiced in both state and federal courts. Since 2015, I have served as a City Attorney, advising and representing the City of Oakland in trial and appellate courts on a wide range of matters, including complex civil rights, land use, administrative law, public ethics, and election issues. I have also helped craft laws that promote transparency and accountability and provided counsel to safeguard our community against federal overreach by the current presidential administration. I am proud to have earned broad support from elected leaders, judges, labor organizations, and community members. This coalition stands as a testament to my temperament, experience and judgment, qualities essential to ensuring that every case is decided fairly and efficiently. I humbly ask for your vote.
