I have been serving as a State Representative since 2023. I have lived in my community nearly 20 years, own a business, a home, my children went to the Rio Rancho Public Schools and was an executive for nonprofits serving individuals with disabilities. I am vested in the welfare of our district. I have corporate and government policy writing experience.
Water, Housing, Public Safety, Government Ethics and Accountability, Public Safety and accessibility for all in New Mexico.
We can't plan for the 25% less water we will have in 50 years unless we know how much water we have. Aquifer Mapping is a top priority. We need to measure the water we have. I have funded and carried legislator to invest in water infrastructure, remove government waste on high water needs not necessary like nonfunctional grass, invest in technologies that can repurpose non potable water sources for industrial use and increase penalties of water thieves.
New Mexico's greatest asset is our land. It serves us by creating revenue through oil and gas leases and tourism to experience our unique beauty. We need to protect this asset for generations to come. Economic development should not be sought from high water intensive industries or industries that great high waste.
In 2026 I voted to support HB99 (Medical Malpractice Reform), 10 Compacts (The Senate passed 2 which was signed by the Governor), increase medical education debt forgiveness as well as investments to double the medical school in UNM, increase the Medical Residency salary bills. I will continue to carry bills that will help recruit and retain medical providers.

My qualifications are rooted in a deep commitment to the families and small business owners of District 44. Having lived and worked in New Mexico, I understand the unique challenges our community faces-from the rising cost of living to the need for safer neighborhoods. My background has equipped me with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to find practical solutions to complex problems. I am not a career politician; I am a neighbor who is ready to bring accountability, fiscal responsibilitv, and a strong voice for Rio Rancho to the Roundhouse
My highest priorities are economic prosperity, public safety, and educational excellence.
I will address these by:
Cutting Red Tape: Streamlining regulations to make New Mexico the most business-friendly state in the Southwest.
Supporting Law Enforcement: Ensuring our police have the funding and legal protections necessary to keep our streets safe and hold repeat offenders accountable.
Empowering Parents: Promoting school choice and ensuring education funding reaches the classroom directly to improve our states literacy and graduation rates.
Water is our most precious resource, and we must manage it with long-term sustainability in mind. I support a "multi-tool" approach:
Infrastructure Investment: Modernizing aging delivery systems to prevent waste and leaks.
Innovation: Encouraging and incentivizing water recycling brackish water desalination and advanced agricultural technologies that allow for higher yields with less water.
Rights Protection: Protecting senior water rights while facilitating collaborative local-level water management agreements that prevent top-down mandates from Santa Fe.
Large-scale projects must be evaluated on their Return on Investment (ROI) for the local taxpayer.
My criteria include: Job Quality: Do these projects create high-paying, permanent iobs for New Mexicans, or are they temporary?
Local Infrastructure Impact: Can our current roads, utilities and schools handle the growth without placing a new tax burden on existing residents?
Sustainability: Does the project align with our long-term water and land-use goals? We should prioritize industries that diversify our economy beyond oil and gas without depleting
our natural resources.
New Mexico's healthcare crisis is largely a provider shortage crisis. To ensure District 44 residents have access, we must:
Recruit and Retain: Reform our medical malpractice laws and gross receipts tax (GRT) on healthcare services, which currentlv drive doctors out of our state.
Expand Telehealth: Support the expansion of high-speed broadband to ensure telehealth is a viable, reliable option for all.
Market Competition: Reduce bureaucratic barriers that prevent new clinics and
specialized care facilities from opening in rapidly growing areas.
