1. Protecting election integrity and access.
At a time when voting rights are under attack nationwide, I will continue to ensure that Glendale’s elections are fair, secure, accessible, and inclusive—expanding voter outreach, increasing language access, and making it easier for every eligible resident to participate.
2. Advancing transparency and modernizing public access to records.
I will complete the work that I began during my first term in modernization of our public records systems, to make government more transparent, efficient, and user-friendly—so residents can easily access the information they need and trust that their government is operating openly and responsibly.
3. Strengthening equitable access to civic participation.
I will continue expanding language access, improving community outreach, and continue advocating for accurate demographic data so that all communities in Glendale—especially those historically underrepresented—are seen, heard, and meaningfully included in civic life.
It has been a great honor to serve as the elected Glendale City Clerk for the past four years.
During my first term in office, I have:
-Modernized operations
-Strengthened voter outreach
-Expanded language access
-Streamlined public records requests
-Advocated for staffing and resources needed to serve Glendale residents effectively
-Fought for more accurate demographic data collection at the state and federal levels to help our city better understand its residents and make more informed and equitable decisions that serve everyone.
In addition to my duties as the clerk, for three years, I volunteered to oversee the operations of the Commission on the Status of Women in Glendale and during this time I led the publishing of a historic report on the status of women in our city.
I am the only certified municipal clerk in this race
and as a certified municipal clerk, I am committed to the highest professional standards in
elections administration,
records management,
and open government.
As an immigrant and the mother of a young child, I am deeply invested in making our community safe, inclusive, and responsive to families of every background.
Being the Clerk requires independence, sound judgment, integrity, and a willingness to hold the line when it matters most. I will always stand up for transparency and ensure that our public records and elections are handled professionally, impartially, and in the best interest of Glendale residents.
