It has been my honor and privilege to serve as District 7's representative on the Pasadena City Council for the past four years. In that time, we have accomplished a lot, and I have demonstrated the ability to make thoughtful, fair, and balanced decisions. That has been true even on those (relatively rare) occasions when the decisions were not popular, but the data led me to believe they were in the best interests of the City overall. I bring more than 25 years of experience in public and non-profit service, including a term as the chair of the Pasadena Planning Commission as well as elected and appointed positions in the city of Los Angeles. I know and love this city and have first-hand experience navigating the demands of City Council service.
