When re-elected, I will continue to prioritize three areas: Public Safety , Senior and youth services and city infrastructure.
Currently, I am serving my second term in office as Councilmember. I have enjoyed being an active member of this great city. I am a 31 year retired Gardena Police Assistant Chief, served in leadership positions in the Gardena - Carson YMCA; Gardena YWCA; Gardena Elk’, Kiwanis Club of Gardena, Kiwanis International, Gardena Sister City Organization and many others. I am a Pastor with my ministry geared towards downtown Skid Row, where I was the Men’s Ministry Director at the Union Rescue Mission. I have been honored to be recognized and have my name added to the Gardena Wall of Fame, Honored by the YMCA with the Golden Triangle Award and proud to be the Elk of the Year for service.
I have attended 135th Street Elementary School, Peary Jr. High and Gardena High School.
I possess a BS Degree In Criminology from California State University Long Beach and a Masters of Divinity Degree from TALBOT Seminary School, BIOLA University.
When re-elected, I will continue to use my skills and leadership capabilities to insure the future or our great city. The gem of the South Bay, Gardena, the Emerald City!
