Smart, long term growth planning, water management and quality, and protecting the Green Line, farm land, and green spaces.
I’m a fourth-generation Chicoan, a mom, wife, a longtime educator and researcher, and a former paramedic. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Master’s degree in Social Science from Chico State, and a PhD in Sociology from Kansas State University. My work has trained me to listen carefully, weigh evidence, and make decisions that hold up under pressure. As Supervisor, my priorities are smart long-term planning for growth, responsible water management in Butte County, and protecting farmland and green spaces—so we strengthen quality of life today and plan wisely for the future.
