Ballot Designation Farmer
End the Gas Tax. Lower our cost of living. Prevent wildfires and protect homes. Protect farms, water, and good paying.
I’m a first-generation farmer, husband and father of three who built my farm from the ground up. As a faith and family conservative, I’ll protect our rural way of life and hold Sacramento politicians accountable.

Running a farm in California means working your way through an unfair maze of laws, permits, and fees. So, I decided to step up and help fix this problem. I joined the Butte County Farm Bureau Board and got elected to the Oroville City Council. I spent 14 years in leadership at California Farm Bureau, 6 years as President/CEO. I tirelessly advocated for family farms throughout rural California and the North State in Sacramento and Washington D.C. I sought financial relief for local farmers, loosened environmental handcuffs, protected our water and fought for wildfire prevention.

My priorities include Lower the cost of living - Oppose any new or higher taxes, protect Proposition 13, cut government regulations and fees that make gas, food, housing, and healthcare unaffordable. Make sure fire insurance is accessible and affordable. Protect Northern California families and farms - Secure water rights, prevent wildfires, and improve forest management. Keep our communities and kids safe - I support securing our borders and keeping boys out of girls’ sports. Defending rights and safety - Protect private property and support the Second Amendment.

As a Christian, my faith guides me to do what’s right — even when it’s hard. I’m the grassroots candidate with the integrity and real-world experience to fight for you. I humbly ask for your vote. Please follow me on social and visit www.VoteJohansson.com.
