My priorities are improving access, communication, and coordination so county services work the way they’re intended for the people who rely on them.
Too many residents struggle to navigate services. I will focus on making it easier to connect to essential support like IHSS, behavioral health, and housing.
It’s not just about what exists, it’s about whether people understand how to use it. I will prioritize clear, consistent information so residents aren’t left confused or overlooked.
People shouldn’t be bounced between departments or forced to repeat their story. I will work to improve coordination so services are more connected, efficient, and effective.
My qualifications come from hands-on experience, community leadership, and direct involvement with the systems that serve our residents.
As an IHSS provider and special needs advocate, I have firsthand experience navigating county services with elderly and disabled individuals. This has given me a clear understanding of where gaps exist and how access can be improved.
I serve as Chair of the Modesto Culture Commission and contribute to the Modesto City Schools LCAP Advisory Committee and a School Site Council, where I work on issues affecting local families and community programs.
In my professional work, I assist residents and visitors in a public-facing role, helping people navigate resources, solve problems, and connect with local services and businesses.
I am an active member within the Turlock, Modesto, and Stanislaus Latino Chambers of Commerce, supporting small businesses and the local economy.
I hold an AA, a BA, and an MFA, which have strengthened my ability to think critically, communicate clearly, and approach complex challenges with care.
