If elected, my top three priorities are improving fire safety and insurance availability, restoring healthcare and protecting seniors, and bringing accountability to the County’s budget.

First, I will focus on real wildfire prevention to help keep homes insurable and reduce costs. Homeowners are losing coverage or facing massive premium increases, yet the County has done little to act. I will implement a modern approach using AI, satellite data, wind patterns, and topography to identify property-level risks and provide homeowners with clear guidance to reduce them. By lowering risk, we can improve insurability and help bring down costs.

Second, I will work to restore access to pediatric healthcare and protect senior services. Our region has become a pediatric inpatient specialty care desert after the closure of services at Los Robles, impacting over 60,000 children who now must travel for care. The County failed to prepare despite clear warning signs. At the same time, senior services have been threatened. I will prioritize restoring care, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring these essential services are protected.

Third, I will fix the County’s budget and improve accountability. The County faces a $500 million health system deficit with $1 million per week in debt service, yet budgets continue to be approved without meaningful reform. I will implement performance-based budgeting to ensure taxpayer dollars are focused on the highest-impact services, while improving efficiency and outcomes across all departments.

Ventura County needs proactive, results-driven leadership—and I’m ready to deliver it.
I bring a rare combination of real-world Fortune 100 senior leadership experience and firsthand knowledge of Ventura County government, including serving as a former Chief of Staff.

Professionally, I am a government management consultant and certified Project Management Professional (PMP), where I’ve led complex, multi-million-dollar operations and helped organizations—including Amazon, Disney, and Warner Bros.—improve performance, reduce inefficiencies, and deliver results.

I’ve worked for Ventura County Supervisors, giving me direct experience across more than two dozen County departments. I understand the issues, the operational challenges, and the partisanship that can get in the way of progress—and most importantly, I know what it takes to deliver results on day one.

I am an Eagle Scout, a husband, and a father of three young children—values that reflect my lifelong commitment to service, leadership, and leaving my community better than I found it. I’ve delivered results locally—helping over 400 Somis residents stop an unjustified water rate increase, advancing a plan to bring local control to Oak Park, and developing a plan modeled after high-performing counties to improve public health while reducing confusion that impacts residents, restaurants, and businesses every day.

I’m not a career politician—I’m a proven problem-solver ready to deliver results on day one.
One example is wildfire risk and the growing loss of home insurance—an immediate crisis with long-term consequences for homeowners and our local economy.

In the short term, I would work with fire agencies and County departments to expand mitigation efforts, streamline approvals for defensible space and home hardening, and ensure residents have clear, actionable guidance before fire season.

At the same time, I would implement a mid-term, data-driven approach using AI, satellite mapping, wind patterns, and topography to identify property-level risks across the County. By systematically and intelligently reducing those risks, we can improve the data reported to the State, strengthen insurability, and help stabilize costs over time. All the while, reducing fire danger for us all.

This approach reflects how I lead—addressing urgent needs while building systems that prevent future crises. That’s how we protect residents today and position Ventura County for a stronger, more resilient future.
