Some suggest going “back.” Back to what? Overcrowded classrooms, aging facilities, underpaid educators, fewer opportunities for students to succeed?
We must do better.
Strong schools don’t happen by chance; they're built through smart investments in teachers, modern facilities, and opportunities that prepare students for a changing world.
The students in our classrooms today will shape our community tomorrow. They deserve our focus, our vision, and our willingness to move forward, not backward.
This is our moment to decide: embrace progress and possibility, or settle for the past. That choice will shape the future of our schools.
People talk about alignment, trust, and communication, but real collaboration goes beyond buzzwords. It starts with us.
As an elected official, that means listening, respectfully disagreeing, and staying focused on what matters most, giving every student the opportunity to become their best.
Serving as chairman the past two years has been an honor. I know not everyone agrees with every decision, but I’ve worked to lead with fairness, ensuring every voice is heard. And when professionalism slipped or conversations turned personal, I took action. Public service calls for a higher standard, and I believe in upholding it.
In the end, actions matter more than words. I hope mine reflect the leadership and collaboration this community expects.
