Anaconda Montana, 61 Great Falls Montana Business Owner/Self Bachelors of Science in Computer Science Engineering Montana State University Masters in International Management Thunderbird School of Global Management - ASU My career spans 30+ years in IT executive leadership, leading large global teams and multimillion dollar projects for American Express and as the CIO for a Medical Technology company. I am a trained problem solver. I know how to bring people together to create and deliver solutions to solve tough problems within limited budgets and tight timelines. I will use my years of engineering, business, and leadership skills to address complex challenges for Montanans.
Create opportunities and jobs by increasing investment in public education and infrastructure to nurture Montana-grown businesses. Because businesses made in Montana stay in Montana.

Keep Montana affordable through creative solutions. I want to expand our public resources through economic growth, affordable healthcare and utilities, demand transparency and equitable taxes, and support unions' fight for workers.

Protecting our public resources and lands is not a luxury; it is an investment in what attracts people to move, work, and build businesses in Montana. It is a renewable resource that provides for our future by funding essential services, such as our public education.

My top priority is affordability through equitable taxation.

I will pursue two economic drivers, making life more affordable and creating opportunity in Montana. Making life affordable through lowering the cost of healthcare, equitable taxation, and lowering the cost of utilities. To lower health care costs, I will fight for Medicaid expansion, invest in public health, and increase access to health care. Equitable taxation by returning to a multi-tiered income tax that distributes the burden to those who can afford it. Move general funds down to the cities and counties to relieve the burden of proper tax. To lower utility bills, push for a punitive fee on excessive public resource usage of our water, land, and energy. Grow opportunity by investing in public education and Montana made business.
I will protect Montanans' right to mail-in ballots, partisan election offices, and reasonable voter identification. I support the Montana Plan to keep dark money out of Montana politics. I would also push for a reasonable cap on the amount individuals can contribute to their own campaigns. A citizen legislature that is accountable to the citizens they represent needs campaigns supported by citizens not corporations or individuals serving their own self interest.
