I was born in Butte, Montana, am 55 years old, and live in Billings. I serve as Director of Business Development for Loenbro Inc. and hold a B.S. in Economics from Montana State University and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Denver.
My experience in business and energy development has given me a practical understanding of how policy impacts jobs and the cost of living. Combined with my prior service in the Montana State Senate, I bring both real-world perspective and legislative experience to effectively represent the district and get results.
The most important issue facing Montana is rising property taxes. Despite a state surplus, many homeowners, renters, and small businesses are facing increased costs due to recent policy decisions. My top priority is to pursue meaningful property tax relief that is fair, transparent, and sustainable while maintaining essential services.
I also believe we must focus on responsible budgeting and long-term fiscal stability by prioritizing core services and reducing unnecessary spending. Supporting economic growth is key to keeping Montana competitive and creating good-paying jobs. Finally, education remains important, with an emphasis on strong schools and ensuring parents have a meaningful voice in their children’s education.
I will focus on policies that lower the cost of living and strengthen economic opportunity. That includes responsible budgeting, reducing unnecessary regulatory burdens, and supporting job growth so wages can keep pace with rising costs.
Healthcare affordability is a major concern. I support increasing price transparency, encouraging competition in insurance markets, and expanding access to care—especially in rural areas—to help bring down costs while giving patients more choice and control.
Montanans should have confidence that elections are both secure and accessible. I support maintaining accurate voter rolls, strong ballot handling procedures, and appropriate safeguards, while preserving convenient options like early and absentee voting so all eligible voters can participate.
Transparency is the best way to address money in elections. Voters should know who is funding campaigns, so I support clear disclosure and timely reporting requirements to ensure accountability and allow voters to make informed decisions.
