I am a lifelong Montanan, residing in Great Falls, Montana. I will be 37 years old on Election Day 2026. I work in education as a Special Education teacher and serve as Student Council Advisor. I hold a degree in education and have dedicated my career to helping students succeed. My experience working with families, students, and schools has given me a clear understanding of the challenges facing our communities. I bring practical, local-focused leadership and a commitment to improving schools, supporting families, and strengthening opportunities in North Central Montana.
My top priorities are lowering costs for families, creating good-paying jobs, improving schools with more choice, and strengthening public safety. I will focus first on reducing property taxes and everyday costs. Second, I will support local businesses and bring trade and vocational programs to expand workforce opportunities. Third, I support expanding school choice and improving education outcomes. Finally, I will back policies that support law enforcement and safer neighborhoods. My focus is putting Great Falls and our surrounding communities first.
I support policies that lower costs and increase opportunity. This includes reducing taxes on families, cutting unnecessary regulations on small businesses, and supporting job growth through trade and technical education. To address healthcare costs, I support increasing competition, price transparency, and expanding access to affordable options, especially for those with chronic conditions. Strengthening local economies, supporting small businesses, and creating pathways to good-paying jobs will improve long-term financial stability for Montana families.
I support secure, transparent elections that are accessible to all eligible voters. This includes maintaining voter ID requirements, accurate voter rolls, and clear chain-of-custody procedures. At the same time, we should ensure reasonable access through early voting and absentee options. To reduce the role of money in elections, I support stronger transparency in campaign finance and timely disclosure so voters know who is funding campaigns. Accountability and trust are essential to maintaining confidence in our election system.

Born in Allentown, PA and moved to MT in 1975 for college. I married a 3rd generation Montanan and raised 3 children in Great Falls. I have a BS-Art Ed and a BS-Forestry with post-grad studies in Outdoor Rec. from UM & Clemson. With 31 years in the Forest Service, I know rural towns and wildfire impacts to prvt property. I held public meetings, met with media, and informed elected officials on community issues. At the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center, I created programming & established public-private partnerships. As Cascade Co. Commissioner from 2010-202, I understand local govt. budgets & services. In the 2025 Legislature, I voted to reduce property taxes, extend Medicaid, and increase salaries for public school teachers. I am 72 yrs.
#1 State revenues do not keep pace with services. A tiered income tax with those earning $500,000+ (paycheck/capital gains) should be assessed higher tax rates. Exemptions for centrally assessed & industrial should be eliminated. I oppose a regressive, statewide sales tax. Childcare costs cause some households to keep one adult at home, thus reducing the workforce. Lower childcare costs & programs for first-time homeownership are needed. Legislators need to ensure transparency & accountability for the Rural Health Transformation Fund. These funds are designed to stabilize rural hospitals. Montana should take a pause to study the impacts of Data Centers on water quantity/quality, power requirements, agriculture, and expenses to ratepayers.
I supported Medicaid re-authorization in 2025 & ways to reduce re-enrollment. People need continuous healthcare. FQHCs (or look-alikes) provide more cost-effective physical/dental/mental health services. MT needs mental health crisis facilities with residential services to stabilize those in crisis & move them toward full recovery. Funding should prevent crisis patients from being “warehoused” in detention facilities. Montanans deserve timely assessments so they can receive mental medical services, regain their balance, return to work and provide for their families. I believe physical health and mental health are inseparable and a wholistic approach to healthcare allows Montanans to live their best lives and contribute to community.
Elections are sacred and ALL VOTES matter! I have distributed over 50 voter registration applications when knocking doors. In 2023, I worked to remove elections responsibilities from the Cascade County Clerk & Recorder because that elected official was a political puppet. In the 2026 cycle, I have agreed to help with Get Out the Vote activities to ensure all voters have the ability and access to voting. I believe in the mission of the Transparent Election Initiative (The Montanan Plan) to prevent corporate dark money from influencing our politics. This citizen-led initiative will redefine corporate powers and strip big money from controlling MT elections. Voters deserve transparency and should know who is funding political campaigns.
